Porsche 718 GT4 RS Exhaust

The system

The 718 GT4 RS full exhaust system is a complete package rather than a muffler swap. It combines three parts:

• Equal-length street headers that keep the exhaust pulses evenly spaced for a cleaner, more cohesive tone.
• Heat-shielded over-axle pipes routed over the rear axle and shielded to manage heat in the tight mid-engine bay.
• An exclusive by-pass section that gives a higher-pitched, motorsport tone under load.

The system bolts to the factory mounting points, so there is no cutting or re-engineering of the car to fit it.

Why the GT4 RS responds to it

The GT4 RS shares its naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six with the 911 GT3 and revs to 9,000 rpm. That engine already has a lot of character at the top end; the aim of this system is to bring that out more clearly, not just make the car louder at cruise.

Exhaust and header systems are sold for closed-course competition use only. They are not CARB certified, carry no Executive Order number and are not legal for use on public roads in California or anywhere they are prohibited. Compliance with local emissions and noise rules is the owner's responsibility, and we're happy to talk through what that means for your car before you order.
